Beachside Retreat with Private Pool

We loved staying here! Beautiful pool and home Positive: It was close to the beach and the beds were amazing Negative: Could be cleaner, the ensuite had a terrible smell, when we lifted the wooden shower mat we discovered that the water wasn’t draining and it smelled terrible

Great place. Children loved it, we loved it. Private & the perfect little get away Positive: Pool living out door area flow and open. Great for kids and adults to watch children with ease

Rate 6/10 - Need a new cleaner! Positive: Good location. The host (property manager) was responsive and helpful. Comfy beds - except 1 seemed like the sheets had not been changed. If we didnt pay so much I would have given a higher rating. Negative: For the price we paid it was underwhelming. There was no attention to detail - no rug in the lounge, no dining seating inside, not enough seating in general. Like most the previous reviews, needs some real cleaning attention which still has not been addressed all year - the cutlery and crockery draws needed wiping out, the dishwasher needs a rinse, the upholstery needs cleaning the wheeli bin outside had not been emptied and was spilling out so we had nowhere to put our rubbish and just general organisation in the kitchen would be helpful. Lastly there are camera's through the property covering all downstairs. I dont mind a ring camera at the entrance but these were located so all of downstairs was visible.

Good value, spacious and comfortable. Positive: Modern house. Great communication if you need anything just ask. Lots of space for families. Perfect for 6 people. Very comfortable. Close to Papamoa surf club. Great Coffee down the road at Gather cafe. Negative: Pool is only solar heated, Would be great in Summer. Too cold for spring. (Early Oct) BBQ needs replacing.

Positive: It catered to all ages of our family. It was spacious, beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.
